I'm an independent celebrant. I live in Shropshire right on the Welsh border with my Husband , horses sheeps and Maggie the very vocal cat!.
The countryside, family and my horses are my great passions in life along with a little glitter and a splash of Abba!
I'm a very sociable gal ... And I LOVE meeting people.
Friendly and down-to-earth, I've been creating bespoke celebrant ceremonies for a few years
Connecting with people and sharing in their life moments is a privilege. Helping people to celebrate the happy occasions along with those tinged with sadness takes me across this beautiful county and allows me to meet some wonderful people.

🩷 I don’t know how you do it? I couldn’t stand there in front of all those people.
So I stand there in front of “all those people” because everyone has a story to be told.
To remember the good bits the funny the sad and all the bits in between.
How do you do a funeral or wedding?
Well fortunately I’m incredibly nosey, oops I mean inquisitive. I love listening to people I find them fascinating. Everyone has a story to tell.
What on earth made you become a celebrant?
Initially we lost a very close friend and we ALL came out of the crematorium saying wth?! Who was that about it wasn’t about the chap we knew!! Honestly we knew him really really well. I was so disappointed, we all were.
Do you get upset or emotional?
Damn right I do! It’s all about love be it a wedding or funeral. We are talking about our biggest heart felt emotions.

So what’s the difference between me and a registrar?
Well I’m far more fun for a start !!
Sorry I shouldn’t be so cheeky, they are the ones that are governed by law to legally marry. They have strict guidelines and can not deviate from their pre written script.
I however can be as religious, traditional or as whacky as you will allow!!
